The sport is the down-under counterparts of Icelandic OffRoad with the same spectacular appeal, and very similar rules.
Each course is driven one at a time with a 60 second time limit for drivers to negotiate as many of the 10 gates as possible. They are allowed to stop and reverse but must go in the forward direction of the course. Each gate is worth 100 points. They cannot touch the yellow flexi pegs. To score the 100 points the vehicle must pass through the gate without touching the pegs.
